Just three minutes in, HIF's new center-back Demba N'Diaye scored the opening goal from a corner, setting the tone for the match. Öster equalized shortly after through Oscar Uddenäs, but Helsingborg quickly responded with a fantastic long-range shot from Evin Gigovic that restored their lead. In the second half, Clancy Biten extended the lead to 3-1, and Alexander Johansson sealed the final score at 4-1.
